Zhang Bi, named yunqizi, was born in Yizhou (now Yixian County, Hebei Province) and a doctor of Jin Dynasty.

Zhang Yuanyuan is the son of Zhang Yuanyuan. His research on pulse method is quite accurate. It is based on Neijing and maijing, referring to Zhongjing and later generations' pulse theory, and expounding his own opinions. He wrote yunqizi pulse method, which discusses the main syndromes and prescriptions of each pulse with seven tables, eight Li and nine channels as the outline. There is also Shanghan Baoming Ji (also known as yunqizi Baoming Ji Lun Lei Yao), which is a book on Shanghan syndrome, and later included in Jisheng Jue. In addition, "pulse talk" and "new theory of medicine" are also popular in the world.
