Book review
Mr. Sun Boxiang, director of the Chinese Calligrapher Association, a famous calligrapher and master of Weibei, once commented: "I have known Jingyuan for a long time. I have both the feeling of hometown and the friendship of the same way. It can be said that I am a faithful friend.
In today's prosperous age, with the rapid development of the country, the prosperity of art, the advancement of science and the pursuit of calligraphy, this is my feeling and humble opinion that calligraphy should take the ancient as the new, and be rooted and inherited. Our sages left behind the classic treasure of the past dynasties for future generations, which is inexhaustible and the source of calligraphy art inheritance.
The calligraphy style of Jingyuan's younger brother, who lived in the Jin and Tang Dynasties, took the "holy order" as the starting point. He studied hard and was willing to be lonely. He worked hard all the time. The cold and heat of his inkstone career for decades consolidated his solid foundation. The form and quality is the body, and the temperament is the soul. There is no form and quality. It is empty talk about temperament. The form and quality are taken from ancient times, and the temperament should be born in time. The fine appreciation of Jingyuan's calligraphy shows the beauty of modesty, meaningfulness, broadness, dexterity and coolness, which gives people a comfortable feeling. < / with the idea of diligence and sagacity, the younger brother of Jingyuan has achieved the mutual penetration of form, quality and temperament, and reached the situation where there is an ancient in me and an ancient in me. Here I would like to cite three Calligraphers' temperament works: first, Mao Zedong wrote "two poems to send the God of pestilence" and began to write "green water and green mountains are in vain". The first sentence is relatively large, and it seems that he has no intention to arrange it. The second sentence "Huatuo has no choice but a little bug". The words are careless again. Then they are arranged in order, and the calligraphers seem to forget everything and play at will, so as to make the overall situation harmonious and unified, It's more relaxing and natural for the calligrapher. From this work, temperament comes first and form comes second. The second is Zhu Xi's "Banmu fangtang yijiankai". The whole banner consists of three lines, two lines of theme, and a small line of title. The whole banner seems to have no intention to arrange and intentionally do it, "Banmu" is deliberately flattened, "Mu" is on the right side, "Fang" is deliberately lengthened, "Tang" is ups and downs, "yijiankai" is indulgent. This kind of unintentional arrangement is natural and reasonable, which makes people relaxed after watching Comfortable. The above two paintings are based on the method of the holy religion, and skillfully integrated with the stele of Zhao Zhiqian. They are so harmonious and comfortable that people can't put it down. Third, the author's fan "Meng Haoran's two poems" is written in cursive style. It's bright and bright. I saw the Zhang Cao written by Jingyuan for the first time. It's so beautiful that I'm surprised that he can compete with the contemporary Zhang Cao masters and predecessors.
Chu He'nan, the regular script master of Jingyuan in Tang Dynasty, shows the dignity and solemnity in his works, the flexibility in the modesty, and the elegance in the solemnity. At the end of his writing, he confessed: "in the autumn dew festival of Yiyou year, he practiced calligraphy in Yangjin bookstore.". This "preface to the sacred teachings of the wild goose pagoda" is as many as 1500 words. It was finished in one day and written in regular script as many as 1500 words in one day. From this, we can know that the calligrapher's mind is calm, calm as water, ploughing inkstone field and practicing hard. In his regular script writing, we can know that he has read and mastered regular script, which takes dots and lines as its form and quality, and turns it into temperament, while cursive script is the essence of its form and quality, and dots and lines as its temperament. A painting between the ups and downs in the front, a point within the special frustration in the subtle reason.
A calligrapher is only a drop in the ocean of calligraphy. In one's life, as long as there is a breakthrough from classics, it is enough to stand in the calligraphy world. A calligrapher should be proficient, but he can't be proficient in all kinds of calligraphy, such as Zhen, Cao, Xing, Li and Zhuan, and can't get 100 points. One should be good at one side in one's life, the main peak should be high, and the peaks should arch each other. We should collect the advantages of various schools, integrate ourselves, misappropriate, graft, transplant, constantly recharge ourselves, constantly nourish ourselves, and constantly consolidate the self we got from classics. "Sneaking into the night with the wind, moistening things silently" is the best answer to pursue the art of calligraphy.
Looking at his many works, I am confident that his art is full of vitality, language, rhythm and rhythm. He is still in his energetic years and has a lot of space. With his wise and diligent career in inkstone field, I wish him more brilliant works.
Tang Yunlai, director of China Calligraphers Association and chairman of Tianjin Calligraphers Association, commented: Tianjin Baodi has outstanding people, talented people and long culture. Mr. Zhang Jingyuan is sincere and modest. He is not only loyal to education, but also devoted to calligraphy. Both teaching and learning are good at virtue and art, which is highly valued in Jinmen's calligraphy circle. The reason for this is the tradition of teachers, who work hard to improve their quality. When he first entered the gate wall of Shan's tiqian, he could see the subtleties of the two kings; later, he saw the magnificence of sun's Boxiang, and the wonders of the two Wei dynasties. After studying in Beijing, he changed many teachers, combined learning with understanding, and studied both art and theory, which made calligraphy more and more popular. How many people can there be in today's book world?
This book was written in his hometown, hoping for the criticism of his colleagues, claiming to be "casting a brick to attract jade", and its effect is to revitalize the Tianjin school of calligraphy and train the later scholars. Is it not that his ambition lies in greatness and his action lies in reality? Mr. Gan's persistence, like the grand brilliance of the great works, not to mention mediocrity and obscurity, but to express his comments
