His original name was Shengzhou and his name was Yuanfu. He was born in Zhenze, Jiangsu Province. He was born in the 57th year of Qianlong reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty and died in the first year of Xianfeng reign of emperor Wenzong of the Qing Dynasty at the age of 60. Zhang Lu (1792-1851) was an official of Rongxian County, and was highly respected by scholars. Lu Shao traveled from Zhang Haishan. He excelled in three rites and was good at ancient prose. He had deep interest in poetry and was promoted by Gu Chun and Zeng Li at the same time. His works include eighteen volumes of Jishi manuscripts, four volumes of Jishi Shicun, and one volume of Nanchi Changhe poetry, all of which are published in Qing Dynasty
