Zhang Xiaozhong
Zhang Xiaozhong, born in Yihe Town, Yingcheng City, was born in April 1946. He studied in the Political College of the PLA in February 1984. In 1985, he served as a political commissar of the 302 regiment of the Second Artillery Corps. He studied in the basic Department of National Defense University in March 1996. In March 1998, he served as political commissar of the 53rd base of the Second Artillery Corps. He was awarded the rank of major general in 1998. In February 2000, he served as political commissar of the 56th base of the Second Artillery Corps. Since 2002, he has been director of the Political Department of the Second Artillery Force and member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee of the Second Artillery Force. In November, he was elected as an alternate member of the 16th CPC Central Committee at the 16th CPC National Congress. He was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general in 2003. In January 2009, he served as deputy political commissar of the Second Artillery Corps.
