Zhang Yangzhong
Zhang Yangzhong was a poet in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. He was the first poet in Huai'an (formerly known as Shanyang) in the early Qing Dynasty. He won the praise of celebrities such as Wang Shizhen, Yan Ermei and Du Rong for his firm personality and noble poetry. It also won the sincere admiration of his later scholars. Wu Yubi said: "in the early years of the national Dynasty, there were many poets in Huaihe, but Mr. Yushan (Zhang Yangzhong) was the most important poet in Huaihe" (Shanyang Zhi Yi Yi), who was very sincere in his praise. Pan Deyu praised: "the poets in our hometown who entered the ancient world pushed wanqiu forward and Yushan later" (yangyizhai Shi Hua), who was discussed with Zhang Lei, the great poet of the Northern Song Dynasty. Ding Yansheng said: "Yushan should be our hometown poet after the Tang and Song dynasties The first is "the collection of Shanyang poems", which is highly respected. It is a pity that Zhang Yangzhong, a famous poet who once enjoyed "only forty years of fame in China" (crying for Zhang Yushan by Du shouchang), has few people to know.
The situation of forefathers
He was born in a noble family. He has been prosperous since the early Ming Dynasty. Not long after Zhang Yangzhong's father, Zhang Xianguang, received the tribute in 1601, he also served as the general judge of Wuzhou Prefecture in Guangxi. His family had a thousand hectares of fertile land and countless maidservants. Perhaps because of the heroic spirit of Xianguang's military people, he was so upright that he was ashamed of being bent down for five Dou of rice. When he was appointed as a general judge, after "once he brushed his sleeves, he took his mother back to Linquan", Zhang's family gradually declined. He became more and more absorbed in Confucianism since he was a child, and he was "indifferent to what he had been denuded of, but he only recited the scroll and went far away" At that time, he was able to inherit almost nothing except a few rafters of open house and a few acres of thin farmland (and still far away from Lianshui).
The age of life
The eighth year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1669) is 53 years old, which is the 45th year of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty. Not only that, but Jiang's poems also provide us with more detailed information. It not only makes us sure that Yushan must have been born in the 45th year of Wanli, but also makes us know Yushan's birthday, that is, the eighth day of the eighth month of the eighth lunar month.
Juvenile situation
I only know the following points: first, Qiu Xu said that he was addicted to Confucianism; second, the county annals called him the 16th year of Chongzhen (1643), which was the year before the complete collapse of the Ming Dynasty. This year, he was only 27 years old. He was young and brave. He was in full bloom. He was like a roc spreading his wings. He was fit to fly in the sky.
Remaining life
When the Qing Dynasty came to the Central Plains, young Zhang Yangzhong chose to live in the forest, and he would never change.
During the Shunzhi period, Zhang Yangzhong lived in seclusion in Huai'an, except that he went to Zhenjiang with Yan Zaipeng in 1657-1659. At first, they lived in old houses in the new town. In 1648, the Qing army, who conquered Huai'an in the fifth year of Shunzhi, decided to occupy the new town as a concentration camp and forced the residents of the new town out of the city. Zhang Yangzhong was forced to move to zutian camp in the north of the city. The following year, the canal burst its bank, inundating only a few acres of ancestral land and new residence. Unwilling to submit to the new dynasty, Yushan had to move to the three cattle drinking cottages built by Yan Zaipeng, who was more than 20 miles south of the city with his mother and wife. Looking back, he could not bear to look at the city, wandering and worrying about his hometown Time.
It's true that there's something unexpected. Zhang Yangzhong planned to disappear from Baima Lake and never ask about the world's disorder. He lived a reclusive life of "everyone sniffs at daozuo, and his confidants love fenggao" (New Year's Eve, shiqiner). Unexpectedly, after several years of frequent floods, the water of Baima Lake rose, and there was a vast ocean around him, and the cattle drinking cottage also sank. Desperate, Zhang Yangzhong had to ask for a loan. With the help of his friends, he bought a rafter cottage in the west of hongbanqiao in Fuma lane, and moved his mother and wife back to the city. The family is settled down, but after several twists and turns, a loss again, from this time on, Zhang Yangzhong's "family planning is difficult, looking up to things. Many are not supported.
