Wu Yan (1459-1538) was born in Qingliu, Fujian Province in Ming Dynasty. In the second year of Hongzhi (1489), there were many people. Wu Yan once served in Pingzhou. He was so righteous that he was hated by the government, so he stepped back.
The records of Xiaozong and Wuzong were recorded, and the records of prefects were compiled. He is honest and upright. When he died, he was so poor that he could hardly be buried. County Magistrate Zhan Gong Lianzhi was buried on his behalf. Wu Yanshan's Confucian classics and history, Gongci.
