Xi Peilan was a female disciple of Yuan Mei, a great poet of the Qing Dynasty. Yuan Mei asked her to practice strictly and not to appear before she wrote a good poem. As a result, few people know that sipelan has grown into a big girl. There is a young man from a famous family in the same village named sun Yuanxiang. He has a good family condition. He has read a lot since he was a child. He especially loves poetry and has become a poet for a long time. For example, when you get up in the morning, you recite "I don't know when I sleep in spring, I hear birds everywhere". When you have dinner, you go to the dining table and recite "it's hard for every grain of Chinese food.". People in the village thought that he was possessed, but Xi Peilan's father thought that he would be promising. Instead, he asked the media to marry him. But Sun Yuanxiang refused face to face. He blamed the matchmaker and said, "what talented women are there in the countryside? I will not marry unless I am a poetess The Xi family lost face. Don't mention the pain. When Yuan Mei heard about it, she asked the Xi family to put up a notice: "there's a little girl in the family, and she's old enough to be a hairpin. But if a poet doesn't marry, anyone who can write poetry can come to the door to discuss his family. " As a result, many young people in the village came to ask for help, but they were all rejected by the Xi family. On that day, Xi Peilan got up early in the morning, because at midnight she heard that it seemed to be snowing heavily outside, and she wanted to pinch two more snow lions. A few days ago, I pinched two and put them at the gate. Today, I pinched two and put them at the door of my room. When she opened the door, she saw that the sky was clear and the sky was full of rosy clouds. It was snowing. It turned out that the maid took the bright moonlight as snow. As a result, not only can't make a snow lion, but the two will melt as soon as the sun comes out. She went back to her boudoir and wrote down the poem "the moon on a spring night": "little servant girl pushes the window in the middle of the night and reports to the atrium. When the dawn is over, I know that the moon is shining yesterday. Near noon, the sun was shining and the snow began to melt. At this time, sun Yuanxiang went into Xi's house, and Yuan Mei saw that he had taken the bait and began to talk with him. Sure enough, sun Yuanxiang was full of wisdom and eloquence when talking about poetry. Just as he was talking, he just listened to the ring and went to look for fame. He saw a young girl sitting in the bamboo curtain. He immediately shut up. Yuan Mei said: "she is the little daughter of the Xi family who seeks marriage with poetry." Sun Yuanxiang bowed to salute, and then he handed over his poems. Xi Peilan casually turned over the poem manuscript and said, "the snow is melting outside the window, and everything is reviving. In my opinion, it's better to talk about poetry by the window than by the stove." Yuan Mei asked sun Yuanxiang what he meant. Sun Yuanxiang thought that he had thousands of poems in his heart from Qu Song to San Su, and he agreed: "I'll ask you to make a point." Xi Peilan is not polite either. Looking out of the window, the snow is melting in the sun, and the two lions he pinched with snow are melting, so he chanted: "the snow is gone, the lion is thin.". From Wei and Jin Dynasties to Tang and Song Dynasties, he quickly filtered the poet's five words, searched all over the dead intestines, and couldn't find a ready-made couplet. He was full of shame and couldn't afford to go home. No effect was found in the treatment. Sun Yuanxiang's parents were very anxious. Seeing their son's illness getting worse, they had to go to Yuan Mei for help. Yuan Mei said: "the girl your son asked for marriage is Xi Peilan who asked the media to come to your home to ask for marriage. It's up to the person who tied the bell to solve the problem. You'd better give her an idea. " The old couple had no choice but to go to see Xi Peilan. Xi Peilan said with a smile: "it's easy! Today is the 15th day. You help him out to enjoy the moon at night. You say, "the moon is really round tonight. The osmanthus trees are really luxuriant in the moon, and the rabbits under the trees are really fat." If he hears it, he will be cured. " In the evening, a bright moon came up, and the old man helped his son out to enjoy the moon. Repeat Xi Peilan's words. When he said "the rabbit under the tree is really fat", sun Yuanxiang burst out laughing and yelled, "yes! There it is The old man thought that his son had a high fever and was talking nonsense. Sun Yuanxiang said, "that young lady's name is" snow vanishes, lion is thin. "Isn't the next sentence" moon is full, rabbit is fat "? If you had let me enjoy the moon earlier, I would not have suffered so much! " Sun Yuanxiang got well and married Xi Peilan. Yuan Mei also taught him to observe life carefully, write his true feelings, and not to piece together the ready-made poems in books. Since then, sun Yuanxiang's poetry has made great progress. Husband and wife often couplet, and both became famous poets of the Qing Dynasty.
Teacher Yuan Mei
Yuan Mei (1716-1798), a poet of Xingling school in the middle of Qing Dynasty, was born in Qiantang, Zhejiang Province. Qianlong Jinshi was once the magistrate of Jiangning and other places. After resigning, he lived in Jiangning and built a garden in xiaocangshan, which is called Suiyuan. On poetry, he advocated the expression of temperament and the creation of "spirit" theory, and expressed dissatisfaction with the Confucian "poetry education". In his poems, he criticized the Confucianism of Han Dynasty and the Neo Confucianism of Cheng and Zhu Dynasty, while most of his works expressed his leisure. You can write again. His works include Xiao Cang Shan Fang Ji, Suiyuan Shi Hua and Zibu Yu. During the Qianlong and Jiaqing periods of the Qing Dynasty, it gradually became an atmosphere for women to learn poetry. The number of female poets and poets surpassed that of the previous generation. The development of women's literature was naturally influenced by the trend of thought against feudal etiquette and law at that time, among which Yuan Mei contributed a lot. Yuan Mei set a precedent for recruiting female students. Tao and Li Jingfa, a book called Suiyuan Shihua, selected a large number of excellent works and aphorisms of talented women. Although he was attacked by some feudal guardians, he remained unmoved. After all, this is rare in a society where "a woman without talent is virtue" and "only women and villains are difficult to support". Among the numerous female disciples in Suiyuan, Xi Peilan was highly appreciated by Yuan Mei and was cited as one of the "three best friends in the boudoir". Xi Peilan, formerly known as Ruizhu, is also known as Yuejin, yunfen, Daohua and Huanyun. She especially likes orchid, which is her favorite painting flower. She takes "Peilan" as her name, and xipeilan has become her most commonly used name. Xi Peilan has been smart since childhood. She likes reading books, especially poetry and painting. She doesn't want to be a woman who only knows needlework like other girls, or she can only live a mediocre life when she grows up as a good wife and mother besides a husband and son. She hopes to have the opportunity to go out and see the world, learn more, and be a woman with talent and knowledge. Her husband, sun Yuanxiang, also likes to write poems. He is a student of Yuan Mei and an important member of Xingling poetry school. The couple have the same interests and are in the same mood. They often sing poems under the window lamp and exchange views with each other. "Lai you's boudoir is a learning house. A series of books are laid out for two people to see." Sun Yuanxiang's two poems are just the vivid portrayal of the couple's classmates and their harmony. Perhaps due to her husband's influence, Peilan admired Yuan Mei and wanted to become her female disciple. With her husband's encouragement, she resolutely wrote a poem to the old man in Suiyuan: "it's too late for everyone in the country to read the poem after Mu Gong's name." I'd like to buy five colors of Hangzhou silk and embroider yuan silk myself. " After receiving Xi Peilan's poems, Yuan Mei didn't believe in her talent, and even suspected that her poems were written by her husband. One spring, Yuan Mei visited Sun Yuanxiang in Changshu and met Xi Peilan. Peilan was very happy to see the old man coming to the garden. She took out a picture and invited Yuan Mei to write a poem. But Yuan Mei put the little photo in his sleeve and immediately took sun Yuanxiang to drink elsewhere. The two poets here had a good time drinking and chatting, while Peilan wrote three poems as gifts to Yuan Mei. One of the poems reads: my boudoir learned to doodle, and Mr. Chonghe borrowed his teeth. Liu Gong knew that Xu Shu was better than Qin Jia. He dares to set up a green silk barrier to clean the red curtain. the price of sound is fixed by the pen, and there are flowers on the eyebrow sweeping pen. " After reading these "exquisite scenery" poems, Yuan Mei realized that Xu Shu's fruit is better than Qin Jia's. When he saw Peilan's little photo again, he could not help feeling late. He did not dare to write it rashly, so he took the photo to Hangzhou and handed it over to Wang Yuru, who was the sister of sun Chunyan. His two daughters Yunfeng and Yunhe wrote poems. Among them, sun Yunfeng's "a little photo of the female history of Xi Peilan Nianhua" wrote: "if you want to inherit the mantle and serve the lotus terrace, you can see the smallpox falling and opening. "The poetic realm is suddenly realized from the Zen realm, and it is not taught to disperse, but it is picked up." another song reads: "the small natural image describes the abundant God, the national color is unparalleled, four spring. The night laughs at the West Lake poem disciple, from travels not to be able to draw the person It can be seen that in the eyes of female poets of the same generation like sun Yunfeng, Xi Peilan is also regarded as the first female disciple of Suiyuan. They are impressed by this. Moved by Peilan's sincerity, Yuan Mei happily accepted this female disciple with outstanding poetic talent and formed a deep friendship between teachers and students with her. He visited Sun Yuanxiang and Xi Peilan in Changshu several times. One year, on the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar, Shangsi Festival happened to be one of the most popular folk festivals in Changshu. The old man came to Changshu by boat, accompanied by sun and Xi to visit Yushan. Xi Peilan is full of interest and writes
