Cui Guoyin (1831 ~?) He was born in Gantang, Taiping County, Anhui Province.
He was poor when he was a child, and he had to go to school with the help of the clansmen. He is hardworking and studious, and often wins the praise of teachers and students for his outstanding achievements. And long, for scholar, go out to make a living. Recommended by his nephew Cui Cheng, he worked as a teacher in Li Hongzhang's house in Anqing, which was highly appreciated by Li Hongzhang. Tongzhi nine years (1870) in the mid-term, ten years on the Jinshi, for the Imperial Academy Shuji Shi read, granted the National Museum of history editing. In March 1889, he was sent to the United States, Japan, Spain and Peru. In December of the 18th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu, he returned home. He wrote 16 volumes of diary of Three Kingdoms, which objectively recorded the politics, economy, military affairs, diplomacy of the three countries, as well as the life of overseas Chinese and people's friendly exchanges. It is a valuable material for studying the history of modern Sino foreign relations. Liang Qichao once listed this book in the bibliography of Western learning. After returning to China, Cui Guoyin quit his official post and went into business, living in Wuhu. When he toured Huangshan in his early years, he inscribed two verses of seven rhythms on the top of Shixin peak, and later donated thousands of gold to build "Shizilin jingshe" under shizifeng.
