Yin Tinggao (unknown year of birth and death, living around 1290) was born in Suichang, Chuzhou (now Zhejiang). His life experience is unknown. Suichang county annals says that he was a professor of Confucianism at Chuzhou road in Dade period, while Gu Sili's biography of selected poems of Yuan Dynasty says that he was transferred to his hometown after the death of Song Dynasty for 20 years. He once taught Yongjia and came to Beijing to thank his illness, which is inconsistent with the county annals. And there is a poem in Yongjia book, which says: "this country is lucky to have a child, and it seems that it is predestined to steal money." There are also poems such as "Yongjia who has not arrived before the end of his term of office", and poems such as "reporting illness to an official and thanking Li Shangshu". His father Zhupo (Yin Zhupo) wrote more than one thousand poems in the name of Neng poetry at the end of Song Dynasty, which were scattered in the turmoil at the end of Song Dynasty, and none of them survived. Generally, his poems are clear, meaningful and plain. His landscape poems are clear and charming, such as Sanyan waterfall, Pingyuan Pavilion, Lugou Xiaoyue, etc. In his poems, he wrote about the hardships of his journey and the feelings of his homeland, portrayed the sad and moving mood of wandering, and the deep sadness of nostalgia for the old song dynasty and its rise and fall. Yin's poems also reveal the darkness of society, such as "what we see in the book of Qi Jia" about the tragedy of the refugees, and "the ancient music house in the car" about corrupt officials returning home full of money and beauties. Both of them use the technique of contrast, and the exposing and satirizing are quite sharp. He has three volumes of yujingqiaochang. His life story can be seen in the biography of selected poems of the Yuan Dynasty, volume 129 of general annals of Zhejiang (Qianlong).
