Zhang Tinglu
Zhang Tinglu (1675-1745), the third son of Zhang Ying, was named Baochen and yaozhai. In the 41st year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1702), he was listed as a vice tribute in the local examination; in the 52nd year, he was elected in the local examination; in the 57th year, he went to the conference examination and won the first and second place in the examination, and was awarded the title of editor of the Imperial Academy. In the first year of Yongzheng (1723), he went out to supervise the administration of Henan Province, and was dismissed because of the examination. In the second year, he was re appointed as the Minister of the state, promoted the Minister of the state to sacrifice wine, and moved to the government of Zhanshi. In the seventh year, he promoted the administration of Jiangsu Province, in the tenth year, he held the provincial examination in Zhejiang Province, and in the eleventh year, he promoted the Minister of rites to supervise the administration of Jiangsu Province. In the ninth year of Qianlong reign (1744), he presided over the Jiangxi provincial examination and later resigned to return to his hometown. He was praised as "an old minister of the three dynasties and a model of backward development"; the next year, he died of illness in Tongcheng. He was a scholar all his life. He was a famous poet in Tang Dynasty and a master of grammar in Song Dynasty.

Zhang Tinglu was the third son of Zhang Ying (teacher of Yongzheng) and the younger brother of Zhang Tingyu.
In the fifty seventh year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi, the Qing Dynasty ranked first in the 1898 movement. Born in 1675, died in 1745. His posthumous title is Wenduan.
In the 57th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, Zhang Tinglu was promoted to be the second Jinshi in the imperial examination. He was granted the Imperial Academy's editing and entered the inner court.
In the first year of Yongzheng reign, Zhang Tinglu went out to test Fujian provincial examination with the permission of Zhan Shifu. In April, he was an official in charge of daily life. He was in the South study and moved to the Imperial Academy to study as a bachelor. In the fifth year of Yongzheng reign, he took the post of assistant lecturer as the same examiner of the examination. He moved to be a Bachelor of assistant lecturer and later took charge of Henan Academic politics. He was dismissed from office because he was granted the title of Qiu Sheng member. Soon after, he was appointed as a minister, promoted to general Jiti of the Imperial Academy, and served as a minister of the government. In the 10th year of Yongzheng reign, he was promoted to minister of rites and served as a scholar in Jiangsu Province. In the 10th year of Yongzheng reign, he was the chief examiner of Zhejiang provincial examination. In the 11th year of Yongzheng reign, he was still a scholar in Jiangsu Province.
In the sixth year of Qianlong reign, he served as the Minister of the Ministry of official affairs and took Jiangxi provincial examination. In the ninth year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong, he resigned and returned to his hometown.

Yongzheng period
In the first year of Yongzheng, he supervised the administration of learning in Henan Province. At that time, the magistrate of Fengqiu County violated the system and forced the examinees to go to Xiuhe before the examination, which affected the preparation of lessons. The examinees prepared to strike the examination collectively. After Zhang Tinglu's persuasion, science and education was restored. However, local officials reported the strike to the imperial court, and Zhang Tinglu was dismissed. Soon after finding out the truth, Zhang Tinglu resumed her original job and was promoted. He once presided over the examination in Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces.
In the seventh year of Yongzheng reign, Zhang Tinglu took up the post of academic politics in Jiangsu Province.
Qianlong period
Emperor Yongzheng died in August, and Emperor Qianlong ascended the throne. In October of that year, Qianlong ordered the change of the academic administration of each province, but Zhang Tinglu was ordered to continue to serve as the academic administration of Jiangsu Province. Zhang Tingyu invited Zhang Tinglu, who has been in office for six years, to send another person to succeed him. Emperor Qianlong said: "it is very important to study politics in Jiangsu Province. Zhang Tinglu has been here for a long time. He has a good reputation and has written fruitful works. At the beginning of my accession to the throne, I was not willing to give up the trusted one and use other members instead? " As a result, Zhang Tinglu continued his term of office for another three years and worked in Jiangsu for nine years, selecting a lot of talents.
Shen Deqian, a famous poet in Qing Dynasty, was selected by Zhang Tinglu. In the third year of Qianlong's reign, he was transferred back to the imperial court and promoted to minister of rites until he returned to Tongcheng.

In the first and second years of Yongzheng reign, Zhang Tingyu served as the official examiner of two examinations. Zhang Tinglu once served as the examiner of the first year of Yongzheng, but never as the examiner.
