Yuwenfu (557-581), a native of Wuchuan (now Wuchuan County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region), is of Xianbei nationality. He was the 13th son of yuwentai, Emperor Wen of Zhou.

Yuwenfu was known as "tengwenwang" in history, but according to the title of his epitaph and the posthumous title in the text, it was named "Jian" and connected with "Jian", and "collection of tengjianwang" was included in "Sui Shu · Jing Ji Zhi". Niu Jingfei's research on the epitaph of yuwenfu in the Northern Zhou Dynasty holds that yuwenfu had never been immoral in his whole life, and he was also the great uncle of Emperor Zhou Jing. Jian may be the first posthumous title of yuwenfu, but it was changed to Wen after Yang Jian usurped the throne.
Yu Wenfu had a concubine named Ma Xinxin, who was the mother of Yu Wenyou. She was a female official in the Sui Dynasty and the owner of the epitaph of Madame ma.
