Wang Duzhong

Wang Duzhong (1279-1341), with the character Yu, was born in Chian, Xiapu. During the Yuan Dynasty, he was an official for more than 40 years, until he served as a "provincial magistrate" for two terms. Wang Duzhong, whose name is Benzhai, was born in 1279 in Chian village, Quanru township. He lived in Dadu (today's Beijing) and was taught by Xu Heng, a famous scholar.
