Member of Tianjin Branch of China Artists Association. Born in Beijing in 1949, he graduated from Tianjin Institute of education, majoring in fine arts and calligraphy. In 1974, he joined Qi Baishi's female disciple Wu Ruizhen to study freehand brushwork of traditional Chinese painting. At the same time, he met his disciple Hao Zhenzhong to study calligraphy and seal cutting.

In 1974, he joined Qi Baishi's female disciple Wu Ruizhen to study freehand brushwork of traditional Chinese painting. At the same time, he met his disciple Hao Zhenzhong to study calligraphy and seal cutting. After decades of calligraphy and calligraphy, he has finally formed his own unique style of painting and calligraphy. He is known as the "king of crabs" and the first crab in China. Its representative as: fish, shrimp, crab, grass, insects. The crab, fish, shrimp are even more lifelike and well received by people at home and abroad. Their works have been widely collected by friendly people at home and abroad. Sun Fang's works have been exhibited and collected by the China Art Museum and the China History Museum, and have been published in various classic picture albums and reported by many radio stations, TV stations and newspapers.

Main works

In 1991, his works were selected into the forest of Steles in Hanyuan, China; in 1992, he was selected into the national Phoenix cup painting and calligraphy exhibition; in 1993, he was selected into the Tianjin art works collection; in 1996, he was selected into the first fan exhibition in Tianjin; in 1998, he was selected into the contemporary Chinese painters' works exhibition; in 1999, his works were selected into the Chinese art museum's painting and calligraphy exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China; in 2001, he was selected into the exhibition The National Exhibition of the Museum of Chinese history was selected in 2002 as the collection of fine works of Chinese painting and calligraphy, 2004 as the collection of small works of Chinese painting and calligraphy, and 2005 as the first prize (gold medal) of the elderly group of Tianjin competition area in the international exchange and selection activity of Chinese art style held by the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China.
