Kong Zhongliang, born in Qufu, Shandong Province, is the 41st grandson of Confucius. In 826, he was promoted from qingyangcheng to Putian County Magistrate. In Tang Dynasty, Zhenyuan and taihezhong were the orders of Putian. They died as officials. Because their families were in hantou of the county, their descendants scattered among the people. In Yihai of Shaoxing in Song Dynasty, Zhu Xi passed through Pu to obey the order. He corrected his edition and established sun kongyi family of 49 generations. Chunyou set up Hanjiang Academy in the middle.
Kong Zhongliang, the 41st generation grandson of Confucius, was appointed to Putian County Magistrate by the imperial court in the Tang Dynasty and died in office. According to the genealogical records, Kong Zhongliang was an honest and upright official. When he died, he was not able to save a trace of money. Kong Zhongliang had three sons who did not return to their original place of origin, so he stayed in Putian and settled in Hanjiang.
