Zhou Si, a native of Baxian county (now Chongqing), was born in Qing Shi. He was a poet at the age of nine. He was a weak poet. He was proud of his talent and had no intention of becoming an official. Later, he was hired by a local tyrant to visit his family and teach his children. The local tyrant was violent and rampant, but Si was harmed by the local tyrant because of his disobedience. However, many of his poems are lost. The poem "Yellow Crane Tower" is very popular, and it is recorded in "the poetry notes of the whole Shu Dynasty" and "the collection of poems of the late Qing Dynasty". There is a biography of Ba county annals.
