Yu Xiaoxia, a folk artist, was born in Songshu village, Xiuyan Whistler River Township, junior high school culture. In 1972, he was recommended by the township cultural station to study the Northeast Dagu in the cultural center. He studied hard and made rapid progress. Two years later, he sang the Northeast Dagu in the towns and surrounding cities and counties in the county. Up to now, he is the president of Xiuyan northeast Dagu Association. Yu Xiaoxia was very fond of folk art since she was a child. At the age of 17, she had just graduated from junior high school. She was deeply fascinated by the Northeast Dagu art. She was selected by the village and sent to the County Cultural Center for training. Thanks to Cui Guanglie, Xiuyan's northeast Dagu elder, she studied hard and had excellent skills. She became famous in the early 1980s. Her singing style is rich and grand. She not only inherits the traditional "fengpai" art, but also inherits the traditional "fengpai" art It has its own unique style and is deeply loved by the local people. It is known as the "female hero of the bookstore". It is an important inheritor of Xiuyan northeast drum. In June 2007, Liu Lanfang, a famous performing artist, vice chairman of the National Federation of literary and art circles and chairman of the Music Association, officially accepted Yu Xiaoxia as his disciple in Xiuyan. Yu Xiaoxia, the fourth generation inheritor of Xiuyan northeast drum, is an important figure in the inheritance of Xiuyan northeast drum. In order to revitalize Xiuyan northeast drum, she runs around, organizes northeast drum artists, establishes activity bases, and performs in rural areas, enterprises, schools and homes for the aged. In order to make outstanding contributions to the inheritance of Xiuyan northeast Dagu cause, he was elected president of Xiuyan northeast Dagu association when he established Xiuyan northeast Dagu Association. Xiuyan Culture Department awarded her the title of "Xiuyan excellent folk artist", and in 2006, she was rated as "Liaoning excellent folk artist" by Liaoning Provincial Department of culture.
