Zhou Zhen
Professor Zhou Zhen, born in October 1969, doctor. Mainly engaged in mass spectrometry instrument technology and related technology research work, including a variety of ion sources, a variety of vacuum interface, a variety of mass spectrometer and the whole system.
The resolution of the developed vertical lead-in time-of-flight mass spectrometer reaches 20000, which is the highest level in the world. In 2000, high resolution technology was successfully introduced into China, and new instruments were developed for atmospheric pressure laser ionization source, single particle aerosol on-line monitoring and liquid chromatography, making China one of the few countries with high resolution time-of-flight mass spectrometer R & D capabilities.
More than 30 SCI papers have been published, including 3 first authors and 6 national invention patents and utility model patents.
Dr. Zhou Zhen has been engaged in the research of mass spectrometer for more than ten years, and is the director of Institute of atmospheric environment and pollution control engineering, Jinan University. During his Ph.D. in physics at Giessen University in Germany, he obtained the guidance of Prof. H. wollnik, inventor of nettless reflection time-of-flight detector, and Prof. a. dodonov, inventor of vertical lead-in time-of-flight detector. In 2000, he successfully developed a high-resolution vertical lead-in time-of-flight mass spectrometer with a resolution of 20000, and the technical index was the highest level of similar instruments in the world at that time.
Since 2000, Dr. Zhou Zhen has been traveling between Europe, America and China. Together with like-minded friends, he hopes to industrialize this technology in China. It has always been the ideal of Dr. Zhou Zhen and his team to be the Chinese's own mass spectrometer.
Character experience
During 1999-2004, he traveled to Germany, the United States and the mainland for many times to carry out mass spectrometer industrialization pilot work in China. In 2004, Zhou Zhen returned to China to establish Guangzhou Hexin Analytical Instrument Co., Ltd., and concurrently served as Guangzhou Institute of geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, full-time researcher and doctoral supervisor of Shanghai University. In 2009, invited by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, scientists who have made outstanding contributions since the founding of the people's Republic of China went to Beidaihe for a holiday. in 2011, the research team has risen to three professors, one senior engineer, four doctoral students and dozens of doctoral and master students.
Research direction
The theory and practice of vertical introduction time of flight mass spectrometer.
Main contributions
During his doctoral degree in physics in Germany, Zhou Zhen was under the guidance of Professor H. wollnik, inventor of nettless reflection time-of-flight detector, and Professor a. dodonov, inventor of vertical lead-in time-of-flight detector. In 2000, he successfully developed a high-resolution vertical lead-in time-of-flight mass spectrometer with a resolution of 22000, which was the highest level of similar instruments in the world at that time. In the same year, we successfully introduced high-resolution technology into China, making China one of the few countries with high-resolution time-of-flight mass spectrometer research and development capabilities. published more than 30 SCI papers, including 3 first authors, and applied for 6 national invention patents and utility model patents. Zhou Zhen's team has been undertaking the National 863 project, key scientific and technological projects of Guangdong Province and key breakthrough projects in key fields of Guangdong and Hong Kong. In 2006, Zhou Zhen successfully developed the first domestic high-resolution time-of-flight mass spectrometer of atmospheric pressure matrix assisted laser desorption ion source with a resolution of 10000, and won the first prize of science and technology of Guangdong Province in 2008; in 2007, he completed the miniaturization with a resolution of 2000 Time of flight mass spectrometer; obtained 3 national invention patents. He is now in charge of the National 863 project, the key scientific and technological projects of Guangdong Province and the key breakthrough projects in key fields of Guangdong and Hong Kong. 1.
