Zhou ziyong, a poet of Ruyin in the Northern Song Dynasty, was born and died in an unknown year. His poems are elegant and graceful, which is highly valued. In 1102, the first year of song Huizong's grand view, ziyong lived in the home of song qiaonian in Kaifeng.
During the Lantern Festival, Huizong held a banquet among the officials and wrote a poem, which said, "at midnight, Shengge connects Haiqiao, and the spring breeze and lights pass Huangzhong". All the officials responded with the poem, but Huizong didn't like it. In the year of Qiao of the Song Dynasty, a secret order was made to send Huizong poems to ziyong for his reward. In ziyong's poems, there are some sentences, such as "the wind blows, the spring comes early, the day arrives in Penglai, and the night is not in the center." Huizong was very happy after reading them, and they were passed on to all the officials and praised them. As a result, ziyong's poetry became famous.
