Wu Zhang, whose name is Tingyong, was born in Wujiang (now Jiangsu Province) of Suzhou Prefecture in southern Zhili. The filial son of Xuande in Ming Dynasty was praised as "the whole filial son". Young orphans are raised by their mothers. Make a living as a blacksmith.

Life of the characters

In the 21th year of Yongle (1423), the imperial edict selected the world's chaste women to serve the inner court, and Lu's mother was listed in the book. In the fourth year of Xuande (1429), Zhu Zhanyi, king of Huaijing, was granted Shaozhou in Guangdong Province; in the first year of Zhengtong (1436), he was transferred to Raozhou in Jiangxi Province, and Lu's family all accompanied him. Wu Zhang abandoned his family and begged his mother for 20 years. He wrote to his mother 40 times. He was sincere and finally got permission from Zhu Qiquan, the heir of Huaijing queen and king of Kang, to see his mother in the palace. At that time, his mother was seriously ill, Wu Zhang cut shares and medicine, the mother's disease was slightly interrupted. King Kang gave gold coins to Wu Zhang to urge his negative mother out of the palace. Three days later, her mother died. Wu Zhang left his mother's bone and buried it in the boat. When he reached the river, he encountered a strong wind and the boat was about to cover him. After years of searching, he found his mother's bones and threw them into the river. Wu Zhang jumped into the river, holding his mother's skeleton and floating in the water. Those who were in the same boat were rescued, and their mother bones were returned to their native land. Wu Zhang buried his mother's bones in the tomb of his ancestors. He paid homage all night and moved passers-by. It was 1447, the 12th year of Zhengtong. Later, Wu Zhang was appointed the head of the criminal Department of Nanjing with his son Wu Hong. He died in 1981 and presented it to the Minister of Taipusi. The posterity praised him: after twenty years of seeking relatives, he met his mother. If you bury your bones, you will be called Quan xiaoweng.
