Ding Ning
Ding Ning was born on June 20, 1990 in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. Main player of Chinese women table tennis team, world champion, Olympic champion.
He began to practice table tennis in 1996, joined the national youth team in 2003 and the national first team in 2005. In 2009, he won the first World Championship in his career and became the main force. In May 2011, Ding Ning won the women's singles championship at the Rotterdam World Table Tennis Championships and was the 13th winner of the gill geist cup in the history of national table tennis. 2012 London Olympic Games won the women's singles runner up, women's team champion. In May 2015, she won the women's singles champion of Suzhou World Table Tennis Championships.
On August 11, 2016, in the final of table tennis women's singles in Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, Ding Ning beat Li Xiaoxia after seven hard games to win the Olympic women's singles championship for the first time, becoming another grand slam player in the history of table tennis. On August 17, she won the championship of women's table tennis team in Rio Olympic Games. Ding Ning was the flag bearer of the closing ceremony of the Rio Olympic Games of the Chinese delegation on August 22. This is the first time that a member of the Chinese table tennis team has been the flag bearer.
In February 2017, Ding Ning was elected the captain of the Chinese women's table tennis team. On June 4, she successfully defended her title in the World Table Tennis Championships in Dusseldorf and won the women's singles championship. On June 5, Ding Ning and Liu Shiwen successfully won the women's Doubles Championship, becoming the sixth person in the history of Chinese women's table tennis to win the women's singles and women's doubles at the same world table tennis championships. On June 29, he was elected as Beijing's representative to the 19th CPC National Congress.
On August 3, 2017, the Beijing sports delegation of the 13th National Games was established, and Ding Ning was officially appointed as the flag bearer of the opening ceremony of the Beijing delegation. On September 6, the 2017 Tianjin National Games table tennis competition entered the women's singles final. Grand Slam winner Ding Ning won 4-2, becoming the 10th women's singles champion in the history of the National Games. Since then, Ding Ning has become the sixth "all Grand Slam" player in the Chinese table tennis world to win the Olympic Games, the world table tennis championships, the world cup and the National Games. Early experience
Ding Ning's mother, who worked in the gymnasium since she was a child, asked her to practice table tennis with a group of children. Later, her mother sent Ding Ning to participate in Liaoning Province table tennis seedling training at her own expense. As a result, she was favored by coach Zhen Jiuxiang. In 1999, she came to Beijing and was favored by coach Zhou Shusen to join the Beijing team.
Ding Ning joined the Chinese national youth team in 2003 and was selected into the Chinese national team in 2005.
Sports career
In October 2007, Ding Ning won the world table tennis champion Guo Yue in the women's table tennis singles of the Sixth City Games of the people's Republic of China, advanced to the final, and won the gold medal of world champion Li Xiaoxia, becoming a noticeable future star.
In 2009, Ding Ning became the champion of "straight through Yokohama" by pressing Zhang Yining, who ranked second in both stages, with her achievements in the third and the first stage of the first stage in the national table tennis straight through Yokohama trials. She was the first to get the qualification of world table tennis singles, started her first world table tennis singles journey, and won the first World Championship in her career, and became the main force.
In 2010, Ding Ning and Guo Yan played for the Chinese national team in the World Table Tennis Championships in Moscow. On May 15, 2011, Ding Ning defeated her teammate Li Xiaoxia 4-2 to win the world championship in the women's singles final at the end of the 51st Rotterdam World Table Tennis Championships, becoming the 13th women's singles champion in the history of the Chinese team, which is also the ninth consecutive champion of the Chinese team in the history of women's singles at the world table tennis championships. In November of the same year, she became the first player in the world with 3005 points for the first time. On March 23, 2014, Ding Ning defeated Li Xiaoxia 4-2 in the women's singles final of the Asian Cup table tennis competition, winning the Asian Cup Singles Championship for the first time. On October 20, Ding Ning beat Li Xiaoxia 4-0 in the women's table tennis world cup. This is the first time that table tennis has entered the age of 40 + and new plastic ball to win the championship again after 2011. The Chinese team has won 18 consecutive titles in this event. On May 2, 2015, in the women's singles decisive game of the 2015 Suzhou World Table Tennis Championships, Ding Ning was injured accidentally, but still persevered to the end, finally defeated Liu Shiwen 4-3 and won the women's singles championship for the second time after 2011. In November of the same year, netizens voted "China's top 10 influential post-90s people", and Ding Ning ranked eighth. On December 14, Ding Ning won the women's singles championship in the 2015 ITTF World Tour Finals.
On March 6, 2016, Ding Ning won the gold medal of women's team in the 53rd World Table Tennis Championship, and China won the championship for the 20th time. Ding Ning beat Li Xiaoxia 4-3 to win the Olympic women's singles championship for the first time in the final of table tennis women's singles at the Rio Olympic Games on August 11. After seven hard games, Ding Ning became another grand slam player in the history of table tennis. Ding Ning and his teammates (Li Xiaoxia and Liu Shiwen) swept Germany 3-0 to win the final of the women's table tennis team at the Rio Olympic Games on August 17, realizing the three consecutive championships of Chinese table tennis in the women's team competition of the Olympic Games.
