Wu Wenzhong
Dr. Wu Wenzhong graduated from Wuhan University in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. He obtained a master's degree in ecotoxicology from Institute of aquatic biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in December 1995. In the same year, he studied under Professor Antonius kettrup (president of International Society for ecotoxicology and winner of German national Jazz Medal) of Munich University of technology, Germany, and obtained a doctor's degree in ecotoxicology A bachelor's degree. After graduation, he successively worked in the National Center for environment and health research of Germany, Technical University of Munich and Hong Kong Baptist University, engaged in ecotoxicology research, and as an environmental expert specially appointed by the United Nations, trained environmental departments of Japan, South Korea and other countries.
At the end of 2000, Dr. Wu, 32, was invited back by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to become an academic leader and doctoral supervisor of the State Key Laboratory of freshwater ecology and biotechnology in China. Dr. Wu led the establishment of the national dioxin laboratory, drafted and formulated the national environmental standard dioxin test methods. Dr. Wu has also presided over a number of major research projects, made significant contributions to the scientific research work in the field of environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology in China, enjoyed special subsidies from the State Council, and won many awards -- 100 person candidates of the national new century talents project, and won the titles of excellent experts in Liaoning Province and the first batch of leading talents in Dalian city. Main contributions
At the end of 2000, Dr. Wu Wenzhong returned from Germany and engaged in research work in the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He found that only a few hundred of the tens of thousands of R & D achievements in China every year can be transformed into real productivity, which greatly restricted the development of the national economy. To this end, he resigned from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, chose to start his own business, and founded Dalian Yinuo biological Co., Ltd. in 2003.
In the early stage of the enterprise, he took technology development as the main business of foreign pharmaceutical companies, and developed technologies and products with independent intellectual property rights.
The entrepreneurial team led by Dr. Wu Wenzhong is composed of only 18 people, most of whom are from scientific research background. Besides R & D and production, they know little about other fields. By chance, Dr. Wu Wenzhong found a fat reducing and weight reducing product (main component: conjugated linoleic acid) which was very popular in the United States. At that time, there were only three enterprises producing the product in the world. After a lot of research, he led the team to take conjugated linoleic acid as the first development project of the company.
