Wu Ziyu is a poet in the late Qing Dynasty and early modern times
Wu Ziyu (1885-1951), who was named Shaohou and Xiaolu, was born in Taichung. His father, Wu Luan Qi, was a supervisor during the reign of Emperor Guangxu. He once participated in the building of Taiwan's government. After the Japanese rule, he was appointed as a recruiting committee member, and then served as a counsellor of Taichung County and Taichung department. Ziyu's family was well-off. In the early days of Dazheng, he went to Beiping and Shanghai to do business. In 1921, he returned to Taiwan because of his father's death. Later, he built a ancestral tomb and a villa garden at the foot of Taiping Donggua mountain in Taichung. It took six years to complete. At that time, he was called Dongshan villa. As a result of doing business, most of them went back and forth between the mainland and the island many times before 1943. In 1935, they even moved to the mainland. Later, they returned to Taiwan about this year and lived in Dongshan villa garden for a long time. During his stay in China, he had contacts with Dr. Sun Yat Sen, donated money to the revolution for many times, and made friends with Wu Peifu. His daughter Wu Yansheng was the adopted daughter of the Wu family. In 1922, the Taiwan people in Beijing organized the "Beijing Taiwan Youth Association" to support nationalist activities on the island, and Zi Yu was also a member. Apart from doing business in the mainland, Ziyu built the "Tianwaitian theater" in Taichung in 1936. The theater has a canteen, a tea shop, a sales shop, a coffee shop and a dance hall, which made a great sensation. In addition, he was elected as an agreement member of Taichung City and an important shareholder of Dadong trust. In 1926, he joined the "oak society" and often invited poets to hold Dongshan recitation meetings. Since then, many elegant gatherings of the society have been held for this purpose. He also founded the "Yi society", whose members are mainly literati from central China. At the same time, Ziyu is also a member of Taichung "Chushe" and "dongdunyin society". Most of the poems written by Wu Ziyu are scattered in newspapers and magazines. The contents are mainly about the feelings of friends, the feelings of business and travel, and the portraits of Dongshan activities. (for the above contents and life details of Wu Ziyu's poems, please refer to Xu Junya's "a preliminary study of Wu Ziyu and his poems by the oak society poet." the article is included in the book of traditional Chinese poetry of Taiwan during the Japanese rule edited by the Chinese Department of Donghai University A collection of Literary Essays (Taipei: Wenjin publishing house, 2003), the rest of which are based on the relevant news in the newspapers and periodicals at that time. 〗。 (written by Huang mei'e) seven character quatrains chanting roses (Wu Ziyu, late Qing Dynasty and early modern times) < br > seven character quatrains rhyme and display automatic annotation caption: this poem is collected in Wang Song's Taiyang poetry.
