Wu Guoxian, who took part in the revolutionary struggle in February 1935, was a member of the workers' and peasants' Red Guard and the leader of the anti rebel team of the Soviet government in Dongyuan village.

He was a member of the workers' and peasants' red guards and the leader of the anti rebel team of the Soviet government in Dongyuan village. He participated in the agrarian revolutionary struggle in the Xiading (Xiapu, Fuding) revolutionary base and the three-year guerrilla war in the eastern Fujian and southern Zhejiang guerrilla areas. In February 1938, when the main force of the Red Army in eastern Fujian was reorganized into the New Fourth Army and went north to resist Japan, it stayed in eastern Fujian to carry out Anti Japanese and national salvation activities. In April 1938, he was arrested when he was lured back to the village by a traitor. Later, he was killed and died in Xiping village of Zheyang Chengguan.
