Yanmin poet Wu Jiaji
In the history of Chinese literature, there was a famous Yanmin poet at the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty. He was Wu Jiaji, known as the poet of Buyi. Wu Jiaji, a native of anfengchang (now Anfeng Town, Dongtai City), was born in 1618 and died in 1684. Her grandfather Wu Fengyi was a student of Wang Xinzhai, a famous philosopher in Ming Dynasty. When Wu Jiaji was young, he was a disciple of Wu Fengyi, Liu Guozhu. Because of his talent and intelligence, he took part in the government examination and was among the top scholars in the examination. He was born in a poor family. When he was young, he used to burn salt, and his family had no surplus food. He was fond of reading and writing poems. He was eager to learn. He once took part in the imperial examination. However, because he saw the collapse of the Ming Dynasty and the soldiers of the Qing Dynasty going south, the residents were slaughtered, so he abandoned his official career and lived in seclusion in his hometown. Although the poet is not a kitchen household, he is also very poor. The residence is only a thatched cottage, which is called "shaxuan". He was also called "savage" because of the overgrown weeds and Artemisia everywhere around his residence, but he kept chanting bitterly all day and didn't go back with outsiders. He is also happy to be known as "savage". Wang Ji, a friend of Yangzhou poetry, visited a local scholar. He learned that Wu Yeren was poor and good at chanting, and he had a family of his own. So he sent his poems to Zhou Lianggong, a salt transportation envoy of Huaihe and Huaihe provinces. Zhou transferred to Wang Shizhen, a promotion official of Yangzhou. Wang highly praised them and said, "talent is like good discipline. People in the world don't know it, people in folk songs don't know it, and Wang Ji is the only one who knows it." Zhou and Wang both wrote prefaces for the poems, and then Wang Zhaozhang (Fu SI), the Taizhou division, collected 400 Wu poems and published them.
The poet's feeling of compassion
Living among the poor for a long time, he personally experienced the exploitation of the kitchen people by the officials and salt merchants, the frequent floods and the invasion of the army to the kitchen people. To this end, he wrote a lot of poems reflecting the darkness of the society and the people's poverty. His poems, with their true and profound contents and highly generalized techniques, reflect the miserable life predicament and their own thoughts and feelings of the working masses at that time. Wang Maolin's comment on "May 7th speech is close to body, quiet and cool Free yourself. As far as I am concerned, all the articles in Yuefu today, that is to say, to express feelings in real life, have changed the Han and Wei dynasties. In his preface, Wu zhouzuo said that "the frost is noble and elegant, and the carving is beautiful. He should not refer to what kind of style he is, but should make himself a poem of savages.". As he wrote in his poem jueju, which describes the life of the salt people: Baitou kitchen house is a low thatched cottage, beside the fire of frying salt in June. When you walk out of the door, you can enjoy the cool in the summer.
Boudoir elegance of harmonizing music
Wang Rui, Wu Jiaji's wife, is a woman poet who is willing to live in poverty and has high aspirations. She is the descendant of Wang Gen, the famous founder of Taizhou School in Ming Dynasty. Wang Rui was clever and studious since he was a child. He inherited Wang Gen's simple materialism and common people's thought and was diligent in composing CI. After marrying Wu Jiaji, Wu Jiaji and Wang Rui shared the same interests. Wu Jiaji titled his poetry collection "Poems of humble mansion" and Wang Rui also titled his poetry collection "Poems of humble mansion". Each poem is a perfect combination, which is highly praised by people. In the autumn of 1683, Wang Rui passed away. Wu Jiaji wrote 12 poems "crying for his wife, Wang Shi", which was full of grief. The preface of the poem says: "in the 45th year of Wang's return, I would like to die first. Asked, said: jidejun elegy ear. Now that my son is dead, I cry for a poem. When I was in tears, I was ashamed of my work, but I was willing to pay for it. I am sad to say that I am willing to be paid for it. "Because the female Ci was so poor before her life, I could not print it, and I did not even know where the original manuscript was. The next year, 67 year old Wu Jiaji also left the world in grief and poverty. He was in a depression. His best friends Wang Zhouci and Cheng Yun's family took care of his funeral. Wang Zhouci inscribed a tombstone: "the tomb of Mr. Wu Yeren in Dongtao cloth". After the revolution of 1911, Zhang Jian, a famous industrialist in Nantong, set up stone memorial archways, stone tables, stone benches and so on. Zhang Jian personally wrote couplets for the archways: Jianjia, autumn water, yirensi, Heshu, Xifeng, homeland sorrow.
