Sima Chen, whose name is Ji Si, was born in Xia County (now Shanxi). In the eighth year of Shaoxing (1138), Emperor Gaozong was ordered to take the great grandson of Sima Guang as the right Chengwu Lang, and then succeeded Guanghou (volume 121 of the chronicles since Jianyan).

In the 15th year, he worked as an official for the pacification Department of tianchai in eastern Zhejiang Province (same as volume 154). At the end of Shaoxing, it was sentenced to Chuzhou (Volume 8 of notes of laoxuean). Xiaozong Qiandao two years (1166), for Jiankang general (JINGDING Jiankang Zhi, Volume 26). In the sixth year, he was appointed as Minister of the Ministry of industry. In the fourth year of Chunxi (1177), he was the Minister of the Ministry of official affairs (Volume 7 of Yutang Lei manuscript). In the fifth year, he learned Zhenjiang from Huiyou Pavilion, a Zhongfeng official (Volume 15 of Jiading Zhenjiang annals). In the sixth year, he was promoted to Baowen Pavilion, changed his knowledge to Pingjiang, and searched for the ancestral temple. Nine years, know Quanzhou (Qing Qianlong "Quanzhou Fu Zhi" Volume 2 6). The death of Xiang Anshi is accompanied by poetry.
