Wei Fuyi, whose ancestral home is Huating, is a famous scholar in the Southern Song Dynasty.

Wei Fuyi had few differences. He had a high vision and didn't pay attention to reading. Learning from Jin Luxiang and Xu Qian in the book of changes is highly valued by practitioners. In 1279, Zhang Shijie defeated Yashan, Lu Xiufu lost the emperor and threw himself into the sea, and the Southern Song Dynasty perished. Fuyi heard the news, weeping day and night, and set up an altar to sacrifice Wen Tianxiang. Lu Xiufu and Zhang Shijie were extremely sad, and the audience all shed tears. From then on, he decided not to be an official, lived in seclusion in shirenjing (today's Tudian town), and founded Baishe academy to give lectures. His works include textual research of four books, collection of nature and reason, Yi Shuo, Du Shi Yu Yao, gengdu Yiqing Lu, etc.
