Huang Yue, born in December 1962, majored in agronomy, mainly engaged in professional farmers' science and technology education and training.

He graduated from the Department of molecular biology of Jilin University with a bachelor's degree in 1994, a master's degree in molecular genetics from the school of life sciences of Sun Yat sen University in 1997, and a doctor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from China Union Medical University in 2000. From 2000 to 2004, he worked as an assistant researcher in Department of Biochemistry, basic college, Peking Union Medical College. He was a visiting scholar in Department of Biochemistry, School of medicine, University of Hong Kong from 2001 to 2002. He was a visiting scholar and postdoctoral researcher at Sanger Institute, Cambridge, UK from 2004 to 2009. In 2009, he was selected as the "Introduction talent" of the Institute. Now he is a researcher of Department of medical genetics, a distinguished professor of "Concorde scholar" and a doctoral supervisor. The project was established in May 2009 and belongs to the State Key Laboratory of medical molecular biology. It mainly carries out experimental functional genomics research based on pluripotent stem cells and animal models. He is now in charge of a number of national scientific research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects and "973" Program projects. In 2002, he won the first prize of the Chinese medical science and technology award as the main achiever; in 2003, he was rated as Beijing's "science and technology star" (Class A); he was selected into the 2010 Ministry of education's new century talent support program.
