Wang Wenqing, born in Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from the Department of chemistry of Fudan University in 1953. He is a famous nuclear fuel chemist and life chemist in China, and a former professor of Department of Technical Physics, Peking University and Department of Applied Chemistry, School of chemistry and molecular engineering, Peking University.
On September 14, 2020, Wang Wenqing died in Beijing at the age of 88.
Life of the characters
In 1956, he was transferred from Zhejiang University to the Department of Technical Physics of Peking University as a lecturer, associate professor, professor and doctoral supervisor.
From 1958 to 1989, he was the deputy director and director of the teaching and research section of nuclear fuel chemistry in the Department of technical physics.
From 1992 to 2003, he served as academic member and consultant member of the International Conference on the origin of life of the International Center for theoretical physics.

Main achievements
Professor Wang Wenqing has been committed to teaching and scientific research in nuclear fuel chemistry, physical chemistry, origin of life and other fields for a long time. He has trained dozens of master's and doctoral students, made outstanding achievements, published more than 200 academic papers, and wrote life science, universe? Earth life, brain and consciousness, principles of extractive chemistry, evolution of life chemistry《 "The mystery of the brain", "the course of life", "physical chemistry exercise solutions", "physical chemistry exercise solutions", "the application of statistical mechanics in Physical Chemistry - exercise selection and solutions" and other teaching materials and monographs. In 1989, he won the title of excellent teacher in Beijing, and in 1995, he won the first prize of science and technology progress (cooperation) of the State Education Commission. Professor Wang Wenqing made great contribution to the establishment and development of the first radiochemistry major in Peking University.
