Bao Gao
Bao Gao (1708-1765), a native of Dantu, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province in Qing Dynasty, was named Bujiang and Haimen. He is a poet.

Bao Gao (1708-1765), a poet of the Qing Dynasty, was born in Dantu, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, with the name of Bujiang and Haimen. Guozisheng. At the beginning of Qianlong period, he learned Hongci from erudition. When he was young, he traveled to Suzhou and Wulin. When he visited Huaiyang, he was decadent in his later years. He is good at painting, especially in poetry. Shen Deqian, together with Yu Jing and Zhang, was called "three poets of Jingkou".
Life of the characters
He was smart and poor when he was a child. He borrowed books from others to read and memorized them. When he was 13 years old, he wrote inscriptions on Taibai building in Caishiji. Everyone he met was surprised and praised his talent. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, Zhang Xingliang presided over the Zhenjiang poetry circle and advocated Song poetry. Yu Jing (1564-1739) responded to Shen Deqian's proposition and initiated Tang music. In the last years of Kangxi, Bao Gao and Zhang zengjiqi lived in Tang Dynasty, and Shen Deqian called them "Jingkou Sanyi". Bao Gao was in Yangzhou when he was young, and he was helped by Yin Huiyi, a salt transport envoy. In Yongzheng period, Yin recommended Bao Gao, but Bao Ci was ill. Wang Yu commented on the three poets, believing that Yu Jing won with his style, Zhang Zeng won with his emotion, and Bao Gao won with his talent.
Zhenjiang later generation poets are influenced by him
. Bao Gao was addicted to poetry all his life and did not take the imperial examination. His wife Chen Ruizhu (1714-1778), his son Zhizhong (1740-1802), his three daughters Zhilan (1751-1812), Zhihui (1757-1810) and zhifen (1761-1808) are all able to write poems, which can be called elegant.
works
Bao Gao has 19 volumes of Haimen Chuji, Erji and Sanji, as well as Haimen Ji, Jingkou Wenshu Lu, bigenglu and Shimei Shi. Today, there are only "Chuji"; Bao Zhizhong's "anthology of poems on mountains"; Chen Ruizhu and sannu's "joint manuscript of selected buildings".
