Gu Chengzhi (1717-1783) was an old farmer in Zhongxiang. Qing Taicang people. Zhu Sheng.

He was born in Zhang's family when he was a baby. After he regained his surname, he gave his son the same surname as Zhang. He would inherit both surnames when he was a monk. He was fond of poetry when he was young, and he was good at work in his later years. His works are the theory of reading poems in zhizhai, the occasional writing after class, the preservation of zhizhai poems and the poems in Xueting.
