Gu Yunhong

Gu Yunhong was a scholar in Ming Dynasty. Word Lang Zhong, South Zhili Suzhou Changshu (now Jiangsu) people. At the age of four, he was able to write poetry, lost his father less, and was filial to his mother afterwards. He was recommended by the township government in the 28th year of Wanli. He was indignant at the study of classics. He made great efforts to study ancient literature and examined ancient and modern canals and water transport. He died in 1941.
