Liu Fuyi, also known as lunge, was born in Nanfeng, Jiangxi Province, and was a diplomat in Qing Dynasty. Fu Yi is erudite and good at both character and learning. The second year of Guangxu (1876).
He went to Britain with Liu Xihong and Guo naotao as an aide. Most of the memorials and diplomatic documents came from his own hands. Together with counsellor Li Shuchang, he was known as "two sages of the embassy". The following year, he was sent to Germany with Liu Yihong. In the sixth year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu, he was promoted from a general judge to a Taoist, and remained in Germany. The next year, he died of lung disease in Berlin, Germany, at the age of 33. After death, the body was placed in a glass coffin, soaked in liquid medicine, transported to Shanghai Yi coffin for burial, and presented to the Minister of Guanglu temple
