Shenjin (566-630) was a monk in Tang Dynasty. Feng Yi (Shaanxi) was born in Linjin, and his common surname was Tian.
Brilliant, Broadcom classic, young monk. Living in the solemn Temple of Beijing Normal University, he often travels in the mountains between spring and summer, studies hard, devotes himself to the spread of Mahayana doctrine, ridicules the contemporary world's emphasis on martial arts, and makes great efforts to study Lao Zhuang, poetry, history and other literature. Daye ten years (614) into the Zen temple. After the imperial edict, he entered Honglu temple to educate the foreign students and scholars of Sanhan (Silla, Koguryo, Baiji). In the third year of Zhenguan (629), he entered Shu and was engaged in the propaganda of Taoism and customs. In the fourth year of Zhenguan, he died in faju temple and lived 65 years.
