Wang Bida
Wang Bida, born in August 1964, is a doctor of economics and professor of Fudan University. He is a fund winner of the "new century talents support program" of the Ministry of education. He is a leading talent in Gansu Province. He is a "four batch" talent in the publicity and culture system of Gansu Province. He is the vice president of Lanzhou University of Finance and economics.
He has successively obtained bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree in economics from Lanzhou University, Nanjing University and Fudan University. He is also a postdoctoral in management science and engineering from Zhejiang University.
Wang Bida focuses on Development Economics and regional economics, and extensively covers trade economics, institutional economics and the history of economic thought. In recent years, we mainly focus on the economic transformation of resource exhausted regions, the economic opening of inland underdeveloped regions, factor flow and spatial agglomeration.

According to the information on the official website of science and Technology Department of Lanzhou University of Finance and economics in July 2017, Wang Bida won one first prize (2007) and three second prizes (2009, 2011, 2015) for outstanding achievements in Social Sciences of Gansu Province; one second prize (2007) for scientific and technological progress of Gansu Province; one first prize (2006) and one second prize (2016) for achievements in Social Sciences of colleges and universities of Gansu Province.
