Wang Dian
In March 1949, Comrade Wang Dian attended the women's Congress of new China as a military woman representative elected by the East China Field Army. After the founding of new China, Comrade Wang Dian maintained and carried forward the revolutionary tradition, actively participated in socialist construction, regardless of personal gains and losses. During the cultural revolution, he always firmly believed in the party; after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the party, he even more supported the Communist Party of China and socialism.
Life of the characters
Wang Dian was born in Weiyuan County, Sichuan Province on August 16, 1920. In May 1936, he participated in the revolution in Beiping and served as a member of the Communications Department of the CPC Beiping Military Commission. At the end of 1937, he joined the New Fourth Army in Zhugou, Queshan County, Henan Province and served as the youth officer of the Political Department of the old eighth regiment of the second division of the New Fourth Army. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1939, served as secretary of Gaomiao District Committee of Xuyi county in Anhui Province in the same year, and served as secretary of the security office of the anti rape Department of the fifth division of the New Fourth Army after 1942. He studied and studied in Huainan Party school during the base area rectification. During the war of liberation, he was the instructor of the three field hospitals of the PLA. He worked in the Political Department of the Ministry of health of the Southwest Military Region from 1949 to 1951, served as an assistant in the Wuhan Office of the Southwest Military Region from 1951 to 1953, and served as an organization assistant in the production department of the Southwest Military Region from the end of 1953 to 1954. In 1954, he transferred to local work, served as branch secretary of Sichuan Urban Construction Bureau and deputy chief of cadre section. In 1959, he was Secretary of the development office branch of Beijing Academy of petroleum Sciences and chief of cadre section of Guangdong Maoming shale oil company. In 1962, he served as the Secretary of the Development Department of Sichuan Petroleum Institute. In 1965, he was transferred to Sichuan Petroleum Administration Bureau and left to recuperate in October 1980. At 6:00 on October 13, 2006, Comrade Wang Dian died in Chengdu at the age of 86.

Comrade Wang Dian has been devoted to the revolution for 70 years, loyal to the party, the motherland and the people.
