Pan Wei's name can be seen as follows: 1. Jinshi in Xiantong period of Tang Dynasty; 2. Shusheren in Wuying Hall of Wanli period of Ming Dynasty.
Pan Wei (whose birth and death are unknown) lived around 847, the first year of the Tang Dynasty. Hunan (now Hengyang, Hengshan, etc.) people. During the reign of Xiantong (860-874), there were Jinshi.
Pan Wei (P ā NW ě I) is good at poetry. He is fond of chanting bitterly and creates novel language. His style is similar to Jia Dao's. He once conceived it for ten years and became an ancient mirror poem. There is a sentence in it that "the seal script is astringent for thousands of years, and the shadow is cold". His famous works "Mid Autumn Moon" and "Qin" were recorded in "the whole Tang poetry", and the rest were lost.
