Fu Yi (1888-1952), a native of Tujia nationality, was born in Youyang, Chongqing. Lieutenant general of the army, graduated from Sichuan army accelerated school, general of Sichuan army.
Born on March 8, 1888. He once served as the director of Pengxian Education Bureau, the chief of staff of the 3rd Division of the 21st army in 1931, the instructor of Chengdu Branch of the Central Military Academy in the summer of 1935, the deputy commander of major general of the new 15th division of the 78th army in June 1938, and went out to Sichuan to participate in the Anti Japanese war. In March 1939, he acted as the acting division commander, in July he served as the commander of the new 15th division, and on November 13 he served as the major general of the army. He served as deputy commander of the 72nd army in March 1942, commander of the 72nd army in February 1943, division commander of the 72nd division in May 1946, General Gao Shen of Wuhan camp in June, and was dismissed in December. After leaving the military post, he served as the chairman of Fuyu trading company in Hankou. He returned to Chongqing in 1947 and was appointed lieutenant general of the army on September 22, 1948. In November 1949, he refused to join the anti Communist armed forces and met the liberation in Chongqing.
