Shen Chu (1729-1799), whose name is Jingchu, was born in linjiadai, Pinghu, Zhejiang Province. He was a minister of the Qing Dynasty. Few of them are gifted. Qian Chenqun of the same county is called a gifted person.

In the 27th year of Qianlong (1762), he went on a tour to the south, called for an examination, granted Juren and a letter to the cabinet. More than ten years later, he took the examination of Han and Zhan, and did not take part in the examination with zhinei court. His works include 8 volumes of LAN Yun Tang poetry anthology, 4 volumes of Yu Lan anthology and notes of the Western Qing Dynasty.
