Shen Yefu (1732-1807) was gifted, intelligent and diligent when he was a child. Therefore, he went very smoothly from the beginning to the middle of the 19th year of Qianlong (1754). Shen Yefu, together with Zhang Zengchang, Weng Fanggang and Zhu Yun, was known as the "four King Kong" by the people of that time for his impartiality, honesty and selflessness.
Shen Yefu, a native of Gaoyou Prefecture, Yangzhou Prefecture, Jiangsu Province, was named fanggu. He was born on May 22 in 1732 and died on August 15 in 1807. In the 18th year of Qianlong reign, he was promoted to the township and became a Jinshi the next year. He was the editor of the Imperial Academy, the magistrate of Taiping, and the salt envoy of Hedong. He is the author of the collection of poems in Weideng bookstore. It is based on the epitaph of Shen gongjitang, the Secretary of salt transportation in Hedong compiled by the Hanlin in volume 5 of Ruan Yuan's "the second collection of CI Jing Shi Ji".
