Wang mo (about 1731-1817) had the word Renpu, also known as Rumei, which was later called the old man. Linfang people in Jinxi County (now Linfang village, Shazhou Town, Nancheng County, Jiangxi Province) are from Jiangxi Province. He is a writer and textual researcher in Qing Dynasty.
a merit
In 1768, Qianlong passed the examination in the following year. He lived in Nanchang as a people's education center. He had many outstanding achievements, such as "Jiangyang classics" and "Yuzhang ten dynasties literature". In the 43rd year of Qianlong's reign, he became a Jinshi and was granted the title of county magistrate. Soon he resigned. He was asked to change his position and be elected a professor of Jianchang University. All day long, they collect the lost information to make up for the lack of historical books. He collected a lot of lost documents and made remarkable achievements. There are mainly "Han Wei Yi Shu copied", more than 500 kinds of books, published by 108 kinds of Jingbu (96 kinds). There are 86 kinds of lost books in Han Wei series, and 94 kinds of them are widely collected; there are 8 volumes in Han Tang geography, both of which are more than 500 kinds. The collected books provide materials for the study of geography, local records, literature and Confucian classics. His works include 52 volumes of a brief introduction to Yuzhang documents of ten dynasties. Outstanding achievements. After finishing a great work, I left home. I still kept on writing regardless of my old age and weakness. He died at the age of 86. In addition, there are 24 kinds of books, such as Rumi Yuxie, Jiangxi archaeological records, Rumi Shichao, Wenchao, yishiquan, Erya Houshi, Jiayu Guangzhu, Shangshu zashuo, Zuozhuan Yici, Lunyu guankan, jingshuo, shisan jingce and dushuyin.
Main achievements
Wang Mo's main achievements are the collation of ancient books, the textual research of historiography and the collection of lost works. He has great talent and great energy. He is good at reading and researching. He admires Zheng Qiao's and Ma duanlin's studies (both of them are textual research scholars). He collects and spreads the classics all day long to collect and scatter the old news, so as to make up for the lack of historical books. Before the middle Jinshi, he identified and corrected some cultural relics in Jiangxi Tongzhi. His book "Jiangxi archaeology record" distinguishes the saying of Gate City in Jinxi from the old records: "gate city was not built by Zhoudi, but by Yu Xiaoqing, who led 20000 troops to Gongtang in the Southern Dynasty, and even eight cities to force Zhoudi, and surrounded by shuzha with Luocheng as the center, which is later called Gate City. It is even more wrong for Lin Shiang to think that he was in charge after the Southern Tang Dynasty. Because of the incomplete characters of the Six Dynasties and Five Dynasties, and the fact that Jiangxi humanities are rarely seen in historical records, he compiled 52 volumes of Yuzhang Wenlu. All these have filled the gaps in the field of history and preserved many precious documents. The collected book notes on geography of Han and Tang Dynasties contains many ancient geography lost articles, which has high academic value. It has made great contributions to the collection, compilation and theory of local history, and has been valued by later local chroniclers.
He is good at poetry
