In the 18th year of Hongzhi (1505), Yin Yunxiao passed the imperial examination and returned to his hometown the next year. Yin Yunxiao hated the eunuch Liu Jin's dictatorship, and the government was dim, so he didn't want to be an official. He collected thousands of books and wanted to write books and give lectures.
In the sixth year of Zhengde (1511), he was appointed magistrate of Jingjiang County in nanzhili because of his recruitment to Beijing. During his tenure in Jingjiang, Yin Yunxiao worked hard to stabilize the place, intelligently explored unjust prisons, repaired and rebuilt the city wall, the Academy, the social school, the martial arts arena, and presided over the compilation of Jingjiang county annals, which was highly praised by the scholars.

As a result, when he went to office, he wrote two ballads: "take off your boots, general Xi ru? "If the public has no boots, the public will be late." "if you take off one of the boots, the bandit will leave one, and the public can't get it again.". In the epitaph of Yin Jinfu compiled by Cui MI, it is said that "Qingtian is the capital of drama, and there are six or seven things that Jinfu has done to harm the people, but he has nothing to change.".
Zhengde ten years (1515), went to Beijing performance appraisal, the Ministry of officials to the most heard, promoted to Nanjing Engineering to Shizhong. Nanjing was the capital of the Ming Dynasty, and the six ministries and the CAOS were all in vain, so there was nothing to do. But even so, Yin Yunxiao still wants to make a difference. He went to the imperial court and put forward some measures, such as punishing the people of the Soviet Union in the Qing Dynasty, paying attention to the safety of the land, guarding against the evils, eliminating the evils and treating them as a whole, and giving public rewards and punishments. At that time, Zhu houzhao, Emperor Wuzong of the Ming Dynasty, brought the pregnant woman Ma Ji into the palace. Yin Yunxiao, together with several officials, advised Shangshu, quoting the story of Li Yuan and LV Buwei as satire, but the memorial was not reported. In the autumn of the 11th year of Zhengde (1516), Yin Yunxiao could not afford to get sick, and finally died in his official post at the age of 37.
