Duan Ming, male, born in December 1975, Ph.D., researcher. His main research fields are physical chemistry of oil and gas field production interface and oil-water separation technology. More than 100 papers have been published, of which more than 60 have been included in SCI. He has presided over 6 national projects, 4 provincial and ministerial projects, and 1 international project. It has won 1 provincial and ministerial first prize, 3 second prize and 6 national invention patents. In 2011, he was selected into the funding program for outstanding young academic and technological leaders in Sichuan Province; in the same year, he was selected as the reserve candidate for academic and technological leaders in Sichuan Province and the "new century talents support program" of the Ministry of education.

Researcher, State Key Laboratory of reservoir geology and development engineering, Southwest Petroleum University, engaged in research on treatment technology of oilfield complex produced fluid. From 1993 to 1997, he studied in Applied Chemistry of Southwest Petroleum University and obtained a Bachelor of engineering; from 1997 to 1999, he worked as an assistant engineer in No.2 pilot production plant of Jiangsu Oilfield; from 1999 to 2004, he studied in Southwest Petroleum University and taught in school of materials and chemical engineering of Southwest Petroleum University. Since 2008, he has been engaged in scientific research in the State Key Laboratory of petroleum geology and development engineering of Southwest Petroleum University.
He has successively undertaken a number of key projects of the National 863 program, major national science and technology oil and gas projects, China Petroleum Science and technology innovation fund, and CNOOC Co., Ltd.
