Ouyang PI, whose date of birth and death is unknown, was born in Lingchuan, Guangxi in Song Dynasty. Lingchuan is the first Jinshi.
Since childhood, he is intelligent, studious, good at piano and books. During the reign of Zhihe (1054-1056), he studied under Mei Yaochen and was praised by Mei. In the poems of Mei, Mei has: "my family has no Wutong, and the Encore keeps the wind". In the sixth year of Yuanyou (1091) of the Northern Song Dynasty, he was a Jinshi and later a magistrate of Shikang County of Leizhou for six years. "Strict control, thrifty about, save floating fees, reputation and hope return, four love.". When the fourth year of Shaosheng (1097) wrote a petition to return home, most of the local elders helped yuan to stay. At that time, Su Dongpo was relegated to Leizhou. After seeing Mei Yaochen's poems, he praised Ouyang's creation, and later had a close relationship with Ouyang's creation. Ouyang PI lived incorruptedly all his life. In his later years, he "lived on a boundless wall and killed Mao as his home", playing the piano and reading books. His works include biography of meeting immortals, which was carved in liuxianyan, Guilin.
