Ouyang Jiong
Ouyang Jiong (896-971) was born in Huayang, Yizhou (now Chengdu, Sichuan). He was a poet of the late Shu Dynasty in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms. He served as a scholar of Zhongshu in houshu. According to Xuanhe Huapu, when he was Meng Chang, he served as a scholar of the Imperial Academy and a servant of his family. After Meng Chang came to the Song Dynasty, he was given the title of "Sanqi Changshi". He was especially good at Ci and flute. He was an important writer of Huajian School.
Life of the character
Ouyang Jiong was born in the third year of qianning reign of emperor Zhaozong of Tang Dynasty and died in the fourth year of Kaibao reign of emperor Taizu of Song Dynasty at the age of 76. Wang Yan of Shu gave up his life for Zhongshu. After Shu died, he returned to the later Tang Dynasty and worked for Qinzhou. Mencius knew that he was the replacement of Shu in the town of Xiang, and he was also the relic of Zhongshu. Guangzheng 12 years, (AD 949 years) except Hanlin bachelor. He was also the Minister of the Ministry of household affairs. He was in charge of compiling the history of the country. After that, he returned to Ning with Meng Chang and became a Bachelor of Li Hanlin. He turned left and rode for a long time. He was also good at flute. Taizu called him to play in the side hall. Later, he was dismissed. He took charge of Xijing soldiers. His poems are good in nature, and he imitates fifty satirical and remonstrating poems by Bai Juyi. The words are now 48. After the fall of the former Shu Dynasty, he returned to the later Tang Dynasty and worked for Qinzhou. Meng Zhixiang came to Chengdu and Ouyang Jiong returned to Shu. In the later Shu Dynasty, the official went to the door to serve as the Minister of the Ministry of household affairs, Tongping Zhangshi, and also to study the history of the country. In the third year of Qiande (965), Emperor Taizu of the Song Dynasty, he descended from Meng Chang to the Song Dynasty and was once a scholar of the Imperial Academy. In the fourth year of Kaibao (971), Ling Nanping proposed sending Ouyang Jiong to sacrifice to Nanhai. Jiong said he was ill and was dismissed. He died soon. Ouyang Jiong is able to write poems, "though there are many poems, there is no work.". He wrote 50 allegorical poems by Bai Juyi, which was praised by Meng Chang. He is good at flute and CI. Most of his ci poems are about amorous feelings, and some of them are obscene. "Huifeng Cihua" says that his [huanxisha] "there are tears when we meet each other," and "since the beginning of his erotic poems, almost no Yan is here.". But there are also a few of his works, such as nanxiangzi, jiangchengzi and fisherman, which are about the southern scenery. The content and style are far above the erotic words. Ouyang Jiong also wrote a preface to Hua Jian Ji, describing the purpose and origin of Hua Jian Ci, reflecting the poets' creative attitude and artistic interest at that time. There are more than 40 Ci poems, which can be found in huajianji, zunqianji and Ci of Tang and Five Dynasties. Ouyang Jiong's poems are few in the world, but most of them are excellent. For example, his "qingpingle": spring comes to build, spring rain is as thin as silk. Since the heart of spring is dazzled, there is no basis for the dream of spring. Although there is no brilliant place in the artistic conception, and there is no difference in the general description of spring sorrow poems, the use of words does have its own characteristics. The repetition of the same word in every sentence of poetry had existed long before the Five Dynasties, such as the repetition of the word "Lotus" in xizhouqu. But Ouyang Jiong used ten "spring" in his eight sentences, and he didn't feel uncomfortable at all. It's really strange! However, it can not be said that this is a word game. There is such a style in poetry and there is no such style in CI! Ouyang Jiong's spring grass, fine spring rain and falling apricots grow from the gap of stone steps, which makes people feel that the seasons change from winter to spring. However, "suddenly see the willow color" spring has come, but he is alone, how can a lady not "regret to ask her husband to find a marquis"? The "spring flag" is the little spring flag on the temples of spring outings. Now my husband is away. There are two articles in this collection, which can be seen in the whole Tang Dynasty literature and the collection of Tang Dynasty literature. There are 47 Ci poems in huawenji and zunqianji.
Ouyang Jiong once wrote fifty poems of Bai Juyi's satire and remonstrance, which were written by Meng Chang. His long ancient poems Guan Xiu Ying Meng Luo Han Hua Ge and Ti Jing Huan Hua Ying Tian Si Bi Tian Wang Ge have rich content, vigorous writing and romantic color, which can be called the best poems of the Five Dynasties. His ci also enjoyed a high reputation and had a wide influence. All his ci spread from Bashu to Dunhuang in Northwest China. However, the style of European poetry is obviously different from that of its poetry, which mostly shows the feelings of the ladies. Once the writing touches the content of deep feelings, it can also write the palace resentment poetry like "thirty six palaces autumn night forever" and the history chanting masterpiece like "late Jinling ancaoping", which aims to reveal the absurdity and subjugation of the country. Ouyang Jiong is good at expressing women's feelings euphemistically and implicitly, such as: "when you see the color of flowers, you can laugh at the east wind. "It is rare in the five pronouns to reveal the characters' inner feelings of cherishing spring and resentment in such a zigzag and in-depth way. However, the views of Ou Shi are the same. Ouyang Jiong attaches importance to the form and content of lyrics, but he thinks that Qu CI is mainly for the entertainment of the upper class, singing "the joy of using capital to cover", and CI is gorgeous, while literati CI is different from folk CI. Therefore, in the tradition of Ci, he especially affirmed and valued Li Bai's Ci and Wen Tingyun's Ci, and believed that Huajian CI in the Five Dynasties was the inheritance and development of this tradition. Ouyang Jiong's theory of CI has progressive significance and limitations, but it represents the views of some Huajian Ci writers, and their creative practice is basically consistent with it.
