Ourizhang (1892-1929), Qujiang, Guangdong Province, made a living in Hong Kong and Singapore in 1912, looking for a way to save the country and the people. He returned to China in 1924 to join the peasant movement. In the spring of 1925, the thirteen districts of Qujiang County set up the peasant association. He was elected as the executive member of the peasant association. In order to protect the peasant association and safeguard the interests of the peasants, he selected 30 young and middle-aged people with consciousness to establish the "peasant self-defense squadron of the thirteen districts of Qujiang County", and he served as the squadron leader. In December of the same year, he joined the Communist Party of China and became one of the earliest party members in Qujiang.
At the beginning of 1927, he was transferred to director of Beijiang Office of Guangdong farmers association. In late April, he served as the staff officer of the general headquarters of Guangdong Beijiang workers' and peasants' self defense army. In July of the same year, he led part of the Qujiang agricultural army to Nanchang with the headquarters, and was incorporated into Ye Ting's teaching regiment as battalion commander. After the Nanchang Uprising army went south, it took part in many arduous battles in Guangchang, Huichang and so on. On October 15, he attended the joint meeting of Guangdong provincial Party committee and was elected a member of Guangdong provincial Party committee. Soon he returned home with the party's instructions. In December 1927, with the support of Zhu De's army, he led more than 100 people of Xishui agricultural army to hold the Xishui uprising. Because of the great disparity between the enemy and ourselves, although the uprising failed, it dealt a heavy blow to the enemy's reactionary spirit and became the forerunner of the peasant uprising in northern Guangdong. In 1928, he was re elected member of the Guangdong provincial Party committee and member of the Standing Committee of the Qujiang County CPC Committee. In January 1929, according to the party's instructions, he led the peasant army to continue to fight guerrillas in Xishui. On March 22 of the same year, the authorities of Qujiang County of the Kuomintang, together with the local militia, besieged rakeshan. Because they were outnumbered, they and the other two soldiers were forced to retreat in a cave. The enemy blocked the cave entrance. In this desperate situation, they would rather die than be humiliated, and they resolutely drank bullets and died.
