He was appointed as the head of the Ministry of punishment. Because he was born in Ou Daren, Li minbiao, Wu Dan and Li Shixing, he had the same teacher Xiangshan huangzuo, and formed an association with Nanyuan, so he was listed as "the last five gentlemen of Nanyuan"; scholars called him Mr. Lanting. He was only 36 years old. There are eight volumes of Lanting's manuscripts (also known as bibuji).
brief account of the author's life
Liang Youyu, a teacher of Huang Zuo, sings with his classmates Li minbiao, ou Zhenbo and others. He is known as the "five sons of the South Garden". He was born on September 16, 1519. In the 29th year of Jiajing (1550), there were Zhongjin scholars, including zongchen, Xu Zhongxing, Wu Guolun, etc. When he was in Beijing, he joined with poets Li Panlong, Wang Shizhen, Xie Zhen, zongchen, Xu Zhongxing and Wu Guolun to form a poetry society, which was known as the latter seven sons in history. In 1552, he went back to his hometown because he thought of his relatives and went to school behind closed doors. Even if there is a senior official, he will not be able to leave. In October of the 33rd year of Jiajing, when he was in the South China Sea, he made an appointment with Li mingbiao to visit Luofu. He was attacked by the strong wind on the sea and got sick. He died on November 3 (November 27, 1554). He was only 36 years old.
Literary achievements
He has eight volumes of Lanting's manuscripts. (Ming history biography NO.175 Wenyuan 3).
Poetic style
Although Liang Youyu's poems are not profound, they are graceful and satirical. Some of his epics are filled with feelings about the times. For example, "Han Gong Ci" satirizes the absurd behavior of emperor Jiajing who wantonly searched for young girls in order to refine the golden elixir of longevity. Some of his poems with friends also contain worries about the political situation at that time. "Xi GUI Shu Huai Liu BIE Li Yu Lin Xu Zi and Zong Zi Xiang Wang Yuan Mei Si Zi Bai Yun" describes in detail the reality of foreign invasion and internal worries of "the scar is not resting, Ge Jia turns to be continuous", which is frightening. In addition, a large number of his poems not only express his sympathy for those who have not shown their talents since ancient times, but also show his feelings of being clean and honest. The keynote of his poems is affectionate and graceful, such as resentment and admiration. Although his poems are gorgeous, they are not colorful. It's still a new police force to create CI. But on the whole, his writing power is a little weak, the waves are not enough, and the depth is not enough. His works include 8 volumes of Lanting's manuscripts, also known as bibuji.
Character evaluation
Liang Youyu is light in wealth, hospitable and has a wide range of friends. At that time, many famous cultural celebrities were proud to associate with him. He has visited many places in his life. He has successively worked in Beijing, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou, Henan and other places. He has traveled all over China. Wherever he goes, he always pays attention to the local places of interest and likes "Caihao famous mountains everywhere". His poems and inscriptions are preserved in the ruins of song Imperial City, xianmadame temple and Zhaoqing Qixingyan in Guangdong, tengwangge and Lushan in Jiangxi, shexiangyi and Chishuihe in Guizhou, and Kaiyuan Temple in Fuzhou in Fujian. Now these masterpieces have become valuable cultural wealth of the local people. Liang Youyu has been wandering abroad for a long time. He has a strong sense of hometown. He often feels homesick when he lives in a foreign country. When he returned to his hometown in his later years, he built a small garden outside beimenwai, named "Beiyuan". While planting vegetables, he taught and wrote books. He was indifferent to life. He often used bamboo preserves to treat guests, which made him famous. Admirers poured in from all over the country. Liang Youyu's strong sense of national hardship, sense of social responsibility, unique experience of social life and noble ideological character can be found from his poems.
South Garden houwuzi
In the middle of Ming Dynasty, the monarch was faint, the officials were greedy, the eunuchs were evil, and the taxes and duties were heavy. With the decline of the national movement, the poetry circle in the Central Plains is also declining. However, there are a large number of poets in southern Guangdong. During the Jiajing and Longqing dynasties, another five poets emerged. They are known as the "five sons after Nanyuan". They are ou Daren, Liang Youyu, Wu Dan, Li minbiao and Li Shixing. Three of them are from Foshan. They admired the legacy of the "first five sons" and once again formed a Poetry Association in Nanyuan to revive the poetic world of the south. At that time, in the preface of Ou Daren's poem Wu Huai, there was such a scene in the South Garden The Nanyuan Poetry Society (Nanyuan Poetry Society) has been abandoned, but the garden is still there. You can still imagine the wild bamboo pool and the half covered pengzhai. Looking forward to the future, I cherish five chapters. " According to the description of Liang Youyu's article, in 1553, the time of the rebuilding of Nanyuan poetry club was " The restoration of the old Yueshan society, the invitation of old friends, and the indignation of eternal things. In the 15th year of yonghuai, people in the poetry society thought they were inferior to them. " ——Scholars in the Qing Dynasty generally believed that the so-called "Yueshan old society" in Liang Youyu's article was Nanyuan poetry society. Compared with the young age of the former five sons of Nanyuan, the latter five sons of Nanyuan were almost in their infancy. However, they knew each other well when they were young, because they were all students of Huang Zuo, a famous university scholar of that year. Because of this, their common characteristic was that they were influenced by Huang Zuo's direct and unrestrained poetic style. In the strong atmosphere of archaism at that time, he was able to more or less get rid of the bad habit of "literature must be in Qin and Han Dynasties, poetry is in Tang Dynasty", and consciously inherit and develop the poetic style created by the first five teachers of Nanyuan. Perhaps because they have entered a stable middle age, their poems are more mature and steady. Tan Cui, a man of Qing Dynasty, commented: "Lingnan is called shiqujiang, and then it is better than Nanyuan. In the South Garden, there are ten teachers, and the last five are Yousheng. " Their poems are also well-known in the Central Plains. Liang Youyu's modern style poetry, graceful and fresh, inherits the realistic tradition of Lingnan School of poetry. For example, in the book "no visit to Liang Sibo's sons in Beishan": "the dust-free day in Zhuwu has already dawned, and the birds sing and smell from the flowers. As soon as Pingwu looks, the cool wind rises and blows down the trees and clouds of Jiangcheng. "

In his former residence, there are many wooden door screens, window screens, arches and sparrows, all of which have deep and shallow or hollow wood carving patterns. In particular, there are four wooden lion patterns in his former residence, which are rhinoceros horn, bat money, book and pen It must be good.
