Lin Rong (1906-1984) was born in Houguo Jingtou village of Hanjiang (now Houguo village of Sanjiangkou town). He was born in 1906. When I was young, my family was poor. In 1922, at the age of 16, Rong went south to Xingzhou to learn automobile driving skills. Later, he went to Malaysia to do business with his family. Fuxinglong company was set up in Kuantan Houjie (today's Jalan maguda) to operate the foot vehicle industry. Within a few years, it obtained the agency right of foot vehicle and tire. Lianfa Bus Co., Ltd. and Fuan gum Co., Ltd. are jointly established with friends to lay the foundation of the enterprise.

Modern entrepreneurs

After 1958, Rong not only marched into the transportation industry, but also engaged in wood industry, mining industry and real estate industry, becoming an industrial and transportation giant. He is keen on public welfare and education. In his early years, he advocated the construction of Guandan Jishan hall, and set up his own "university scholarship" to reward young people's progress. Rong once held more than 20 important positions, including the president of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Guandan, the chairman of the overseas Chinese School in Guandan, the director of Guandan Chinese middle school and the beauty school in America and Israel, the honorary chairman of the Jishan hall in Guandan, the president and honorary chairman of Fujian guild hall in Guandan, the honorary chairman of the Xing'an guild hall in Guandan, and the honorary chairman of the general association of Xing'an guild hall in Malaysia. Since 1953, he was granted the i.p. Taiping Bureau by the Sultan of pengheng. In 1980, the supreme head of state awarded the p.s.m. dansley order. He is proud of his country and loves his hometown. He is devoted to the education and public welfare of Sangzi. He donated money to build Houguo primary school, subsidized the free enrollment of the whole village, subsidized the living expenses of teachers, and rewarded some of the expenses of the poor students who were promoted to colleges and universities in the township; founded Hanjiang overseas Chinese middle school; set up the Lin Rong scholarship fund of Putian No.6 middle school and donated a teacher dormitory building. Support the construction of teaching building of Fudou Huaqiao middle school. He died in 1984 at the age of 78.
