Lin Chaosong
Lin Chaosong (1875-1915), a native of Wufeng County, Changhua County, Taiwan, was named chixian. Lin Chaosong was born in a martial arts family. His father, Lin Liqing, Lin wencha and Lin Chaodong were all generals who had made great achievements in the war during the reign of Tongzhi and Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. Lin Chaosong, as the founder and the first director of the oak society, occupies an important position in the history of the development of local literature in Taiwan, and is known as "the leader of the poetry circle in Taiwan".
Life of the characters
Lin Chaosong, also known as Wumian Taoist, was born in Longxi, Zhangzhou. He was born in Taichung, Taiwan, and was a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. He was the adopted son of the Lin family of Wufeng in Taiwan. When he was young, Chao song was keen on poetry creation. In 1895, he led Taiwan in Japan. At the age of 21, he went to Quanzhou, Fujian Province with his family. He once returned to Taiwan in 1897, stayed for a few months and then went to Quanzhou. He moved to Shanghai in 1898 and returned to Taiwan from Shanghai in 1899. After returning to Taiwan, he sang and wrote poems with Hong Qisheng, Lai Shaoyao, Lin Youchun, Chen Hu, Lu Dunli, Chen Huaicheng and other poetry friends. In 1901, the title of his poem appeared as "the oak society". In 1902, he, his nephew Youchun - and Lai Shaoyao of Changhua proposed to form the oak society. In 1906, the oak society was formally organized, with nine founders, such as Chi Xian. With the establishment of Nannan society in Taiwan at the end of 1906 and yingshe society in Taipei in 1909, the trend of separation of the three major poetry societies in Taiwan was determined. In 1910, under the chairmanship of Chi Xian, the society held the spring meeting of gengxu in Taichung, which was attended by 20 members and 31 poets from the north and the south. This was the first large-scale gathering of the Taiwan Poetry Society during the Japanese rule. In 1911, the oak society invited Liang Qichao to visit Taiwan. Liang deeply affirmed the literary talent of Chi Xian and you Chun. In his later years, Chi Xian should devote himself to two social activities. One is the establishment of Taichung middle school, and the other is the "assimilation society" advocated by Tanigaki. Due to the suppression of Taiwan's governor's office, the assimilation Association failed to return. Chi Xian died of illness in 41 years. The content of chixian poems mostly describes the depressed and helpless mood of the traditional literati after the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, as well as their feelings of admiration and blame for the motherland. The later works can be seen to gradually strengthen the recognition and attention of Taiwan. It is a representative traditional poet in Taiwan in the early period of Japanese rule.

Character works
The current popular version of Lin Chaosong's poems is Wumen Caotang Shicun. More than ten years after his death, Lin Chaosong's poems were published in two volumes (the first volume is one to three volumes, and the second volume is four to five volumes) in 1933. There are five volumes in the book, including more than 800 poems of various styles and one volume in the appendix, with a total of 61 poems on 45 topics. Wu Mo Cao Tang Shi Cun, collected in volume 8 and volume 9 of the first volume of the collection of poems and essays of Taiwan sages by Longwen publishing house, is a copy of the original edition. The following version is the base edition for collation. In addition, Lin Chao song's poems scattered in other published poetry collections or unpublished poetry manuscripts are included. The Bank of Taiwan's "Taiwan Literature Series", No. 72, has retyped "Wu Mo Cao Tang Shi Cun" according to the original edition, but there are many wrong words. Another original version of his poem, Wumo Caotang Shichao, was serialized in Taiwan literature and art collection (not published in a single edition) from 1919 to 1923. There are some differences between the two versions, but the total number of works collected in Shichao is much more than that in Shicun.

China network television news: on the morning of March 14, 2012, Premier Wen Jiabao, at a press conference at the closing session of the fifth session of the Eleventh National People's Congress, quoted Lin Chaosong '. Q: today, people are very concerned about whether it is possible for you to travel freely in Taiwan after you retire in March next year? Wen Jiabao: as for whether I can go to Taiwan freely after retirement, frankly speaking, I am willing to go, but it depends on the conditions. But please convey your regards to the people of Taiwan. I think of Lin Chaosong, a poet in Taichung after Taiwan's cession. He once wrote a poem that "although there is no way to mend the love sky, there will be a reunion without the moon.". I believe that as long as all the Chinese people work together, the great cause of the reunification of the motherland and the rejuvenation of the nation will be realized, which is the pride of the whole Chinese people. thank you. the original poem quoted from the poem is as follows: "send LV hou'an scholar back to the East" (2) it's hard for us to know why we have to cry when we break up. however, making Sansheng League a piece of stone should not stop the thunder pool one step. although there is no way to mend the love sky, it will be sometimes when the moon is missing.
