Lin Pi
Lin Pi (AD 733-802), named MAOZe and Maoyan, was born in Putian County. He was the second son of Lin Wanchong, the governor of Gaoping in Tang Dynasty.
About the author
In the 11th year of Tang Tianbao (752 A.D.), he was promoted to the throne in the Ming Dynasty. He was appointed as the general music order, the governor of Zhangzhou, the governor of Lizhou (now Lixian County, Hunan Province), and the governor of Kangzhou (now Deqing, Guangdong Province). He was demoted to Cao Chuan in linting county (now Changting, Fujian Province) and changed to the governor of Linjiang (now Zhongxian, Sichuan Province). Later, Lin Ting was taught to know the state affairs, and he was also taught to respect ghosts. He wrote on no ghosts to understand the people. The crown prince and Suzhou (now Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province) gave the purple goldfish bag and Shangzhu kingdom. After his death, he was presented to the governor of muzhou (now Jiande, Zhejiang Province). Lin Pi had nine sons, all of whom were officials to the governor of muzhou, known as the "nine Mu Lin family".
