Lin Tong
Lin Tong (1879-1925), a member of the National Congress of the Republic of China, is a native of Xialin village, Taoshan, Ruian. He is also known as Shulin. Lin Tong made progress in his youth and supported the revolutionary cause.

Lin Tong (1879-1925), a member of the National Congress of the Republic of China, is a native of Xialin village, Taoshan, Ruian. He is also known as Shulin. When he was young, he was brilliant and studied in Chengjiang school founded by sun Yirang. In his youth, Lin Tong was progressive in thought, righteous and supportive of the revolutionary cause.

In 1912, at the age of 33, Lin Tong was elected to the first parliament of Zhejiang Province;
In 1916, he was re elected as a member of the second provincial assembly and served as a standing censor of the provincial assembly.
In 1918, he was elected to the second congress of the Republic of China. He died in 1925 at the age of 46.
